Responsibilities
- Perform initial patient assessments via phone and in-person triage using standardized protocols
- Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate patient disposition and care priorities
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) with detailed documentation of patient interactions
- Provide clear, compassionate communication to patients regarding care instructions and next steps
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives for triage accuracy and patient satisfaction
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and emergency response protocols
- Support interdisciplinary team through effective handoff communications
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Minnesota
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during emergency situations
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- EHR proficiency (training provided)
