Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation using provided equipment
- Monitor vital signs and document care notes accurately
- Administer medications as per care plan
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding
- Transport clients to appointments using company vehicle
- Maintain clean, organized living environment
- Communicate updates to care coordinators and families
Qualifications
- Valid New Mexico nursing assistant or caregiver certification
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper equipment assistance
- Clear background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfort working with seniors and medical equipment
