Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care for elderly clients including bathing, dressing, and medication management
- Assist with mobility transfers using provided medical equipment (hoists, lifts, wheelchairs)
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care team
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping duties
- Transport clients to medical appointments using company vehicles
- Maintain detailed care documentation and update care plans
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and families
- Utilize specialized equipment (hospital beds, oxygen monitors) safely
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid NJ driver's license with clean record
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (training provided)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Experience with elderly care or home health preferred
- Physical ability to perform caregiving tasks with equipment
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Must be authorized to work in the US
