Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms, sterile fields, and surgical instruments before procedures
- Assist surgeons during surgeries by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile environments and enforce infection control protocols
- Handle and sterilize surgical equipment according to safety standards
- Document surgical procedures and inventory supplies
- Collaborate with nurses and anesthesiologists for seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience in a hospital setting
- Knowledge of sterile processing and surgical instrumentation
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- CPR certification (current)
