Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of provided mobility equipment
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and maintain a safe environment
- Transport clients to medical appointments using company vehicles
- Document care activities and maintain accurate client records
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months professional caregiving experience
- Current Texas HHA certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper body mechanics
- Compassionate demeanor with strong communication skills
- Reliable transportation to client homes in El Paso area
- Must pass background check and TB screening
- Basic computer literacy for documentation tasks
