Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescription medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Verify patient information and prescription details for accuracy and safety.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving pharmaceutical supplies.
- Assist customers with prescription inquiries and insurance verifications.
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or eligible to obtain certification (PTCB or ExCPT).
- Current and valid state pharmacy technician license.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and drug interactions.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
