Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense and verify medications using provided automated dispensing technology
- Manage inventory with digital tracking systems and maintain sterile compounding equipment
- Process prescriptions through electronic health record systems with zero-error verification
- Assist pharmacists with clinical tasks including medication therapy consultations
- Operate and maintain all pharmacy equipment including IV preparation stations
- Provide exceptional patient education using provided digital resources
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska Pharmacy Technician license or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Experience with automated dispensing systems and digital prescription processing
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
- Strong attention to detail and HIPAA compliance knowledge
- Ability to operate pharmacy-specific equipment (pill counters, IV pumps, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- High school diploma or equivalent; pharmacy tech certification preferred
