Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and examination rooms for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during complex treatments and surgeries
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision
- Maintain strict infection control and sterilization protocols
- Manage digital dental records and practice management software
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Order inventory and maintain dental supply organization
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or DANB certification required
- 2+ years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography and imaging systems
- Knowledge of OSHA and dental sterilization standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification and current BLS credentials
- Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental software preferred
