Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, orthodontic, and periodontal treatments
- Manage digital imaging systems (X-rays, intraoral cameras) with precision
- Execute sterilization protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Coordinate patient flow between operatories and treatment rooms
- Maintain digital charting using Dentrix/Eaglesoft systems
- Prepare treatment rooms with specialized instruments and materials
- Deliver post-op instructions with exceptional patient education
Qualifications
- MA Dental Assistant certification (DAEC or DANB) required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general or specialty practice
- CPR/BLS certification with current AHA certification
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Exceptional infection control knowledge and documentation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
