Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, feeding)
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and positioning
- Support infection control protocols and maintain clean environments
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop care plans
- Respond promptly to patient call systems and emergencies
- Administer medications under supervision (as qualified)
Qualifications
- Active Oregon CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year recent clinical experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to work flexible shifts (days, evenings, nights)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Pass background check and drug screening
