Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral imaging with precision
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization of instruments/equipment
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal inventory levels
- Deliver post-op instructions and patient education materials
- Maintain accurate digital patient records and documentation
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Expertise in digital radiography (X-ray) and imaging software
- OSHA and HIPAA compliance knowledge
- Exceptional chairside assisting skills for multi-procedure cases
- Strong patient communication and comfort-building abilities
