Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform digital X-rays and intraoral photography with precision
- Maintain strict sterilization protocols for all instruments and equipment
- Manage patient education on post-operative care and oral hygiene
- Coordinate treatment plans and insurance documentation accurately
- Prepare operatory setups and ensure optimal clinic workflow
- Monitor inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of chairside experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or Dental clinical software
- CPR certification and knowledge of HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control expertise
