Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs using digital imaging systems
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization procedures in compliance with OSHA standards
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for optimal efficiency
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care techniques
- Maintain precise digital patient records using Eaglesoft software
- Coordinate seamless patient flow and appointment scheduling
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credentials
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- Exceptional chairside assisting skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities with diverse patient populations
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining composure
