Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical areas for dental procedures using OSHA-compliant protocols
- Assist dentists during complex restorative and cosmetic procedures
- Take and develop diagnostic dental radiographs with precision
- Manage sterilization and infection control systems meticulously
- Provide chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques
- Deliver patient education on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
- Maintain digital patient records and practice management software
Qualifications
- Active New York State Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general or cosmetic dentistry
- Certificate in radiology and infection control
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or Dentrix practice management systems
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for patient interaction
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification and BLS training current
