Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatment and assist dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage sterilization and infection control protocols
- Perform chairside assistance including suctioning and instrument transfer
- Manage patient records and digital charting using Dentrix software
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and patient communications
- Assist in inventory management and supply ordering
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license in NC
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital imaging and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and infection control standards
- Excellent interpersonal skills with patients of all ages
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
