Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative treatments and oral surgeries
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral imaging with precision
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control standards
- Prepare treatment rooms and instrument trays efficiently
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
- Coordinate scheduling and maintain seamless clinical workflows
- Assist in dental charting and electronic health record management
Qualifications
- Current Texas Dental Assistant certification or DANB certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Exceptional chairside assisting skills for restorative procedures
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental board regulations
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
