Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patient health status by observing symptoms, reactions, and treatments.
- Record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and physicians.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Transport patients to different departments or for testing as directed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong desire to work in the healthcare field.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
