Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during dental procedures including fillings, crowns, and periodontal treatments
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral imaging with precision
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for optimal efficiency
- Assist with patient education and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain accurate digital dental records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Coordinate patient flow and scheduling logistics
Qualifications
- New York State Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CDA or RDA certification preferred
- Proficiency with digital radiography and dental imaging
- Excellent knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Strong interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Dentrix/Eaglesoft software experience essential
