Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and medical procedures
- Take patient vitals, medical histories, and prepare examination rooms
- Perform basic clinical tasks including EKGs, phlebotomy, and wound care
- Manage patient records using EMR systems and schedule appointments
- Administer medications and injections under physician supervision
- Maintain sterile environments and inventory of medical supplies
- Provide compassionate patient education and support
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (no college degree required)
- No prior medical experience necessary – training provided!
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn medical software
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in diverse teams
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
