Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatment and assist dentists during procedures
- Take dental X-rays and impressions accurately
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control standards
- Perform chairside assistance and instrument handling
- Update patient records and maintain digital charting systems
- Manage inventory and ordering of dental supplies
- Provide post-operative instructions to patients
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Pennsylvania RDA license
- 2+ years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray) equipment
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols (OSHA/CDC)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Dental software experience (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix)
- Valid CPR certification
