Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures and ensure comfort throughout treatment
- Assist dentists during complex restorative and cosmetic procedures
- Take and develop diagnostic dental X-rays with precision
- Maintain strict sterilization protocols and infection control standards
- Manage patient records and schedule coordination
- Provide post-operative care instructions and education
- Inventory management of dental supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant program graduate or equivalent experience
- Current Illinois Dental Assistant license and radiography certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR/BLS certification (must be current)
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or DentalWorks software
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
