Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage infection control and sterilization protocols
- Perform chairside assistance and four-handed dentistry
- Maintain patient records and digital charting
- Order inventory and manage supply chain logistics
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
Qualifications
- Current Ohio Dental Assistant license (DANB or equivalent)
- 2+ years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital imaging systems (Eaglet, Dexis)
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Exceptional communication and patient rapport skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
