Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following OSHA protocols
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical cases
- Take accurate dental radiographs and impressions using digital systems
- Manage patient flow and maintain accurate digital records
- Provide chairside support with suctioning, instrument transfer, and material preparation
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene and treatment plans
- Order inventory and manage dental supply stock levels
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant program or equivalent certification (CODA/DANB)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-rays) and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification current
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Illinois dental radiography license preferred
