Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs using digital X-ray equipment
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols per OSHA guidelines
- Manage patient flow, prepare treatment rooms, and maintain inventory
- Provide chairside assistance and patient education
- Handle digital documentation and appointment scheduling
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state-issued)
- X-ray certification (North Carolina compliant)
- Minimum 2 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
