Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatment and assist dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory cleanliness
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies
- Provide chairside assistance to dentists
- Perform basic lab tasks like pouring models
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene
- Manage digital charting systems
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of dental instruments and procedures
- Experience with digital imaging systems (e.g., Dexis)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to infection control protocols
