Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Perform digital X-rays and chairside assistance with strict infection control protocols
- Manage patient scheduling, sterilization, and inventory of dental supplies
- Delieve patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions
- Maintain precise digital dental records using Eaglesoft software
- Oversee infection control compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or expanded functions license (Kansas)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray) and dental imaging
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
