Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and cosmetic treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and care
- Perform infection control protocols and sterilization procedures exceeding OSHA standards
- Manage patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Utilize digital imaging software for accurate documentation
- Coordinate seamless patient flow between hygiene and treatment areas
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license (Florida Board approved)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar practice management software
- Strong knowledge of dental instruments and equipment maintenance
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask effectively in high-volume environments
- Positive attitude and commitment to continuous learning
