Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments/equipment following OSHA protocols
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Administer infection control protocols and maintain operatory sterility
- Coordinate patient scheduling and treatment planning coordination
- Perform dental charting and accurate documentation
- Assist in managing inventory and ordering dental supplies
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license (Kansas)
- 2+ years of chairside experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Exceptional patient communication and chairside manner
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control compliance
- Willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends as needed
