Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical cases
- Perform advanced dental radiography (CBCT, panoramic, and intraoral X-rays)
- Manage digital patient records and implement HIPAA-compliant protocols
- Sterilize equipment and maintain treatment room inventory using 4-handed dentistry techniques
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene and treatment plans
- Coordinate with insurance providers and manage billing documentation
- Maintain infection control standards exceeding OSHA guidelines
Qualifications
- Current California Dental Assistant certification and x-ray license
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in general or specialty dentistry
- Expertise in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification and familiarity with emergency protocols
- Exceptional chairside demeanor and communication skills
- Proven ability to multitask in high-volume settings
