Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and daily living assistance to clients
- Monitor health conditions and administer medications as prescribed
- Assist with mobility transfers, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Maintain detailed care logs and communicate updates to families
- Adhere to care plans while adapting to individual client needs
- Respond promptly to emergencies and maintain client safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or relevant certification
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical care tasks
- Excellent communication skills and empathy for elderly clients
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Background clearance and TB test required
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
