Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care coordinator
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities (mileage reimbursed)
- Light housekeeping and medication reminder management
- Maintain accurate care documentation and client records
- Collaborate with families and care team members
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience preferred
- Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Strong communication skills and empathy
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts
- Reliable transportation to client locations
- Ohio caregiver registry registration (or willingness to register)
