Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate companionship and personal care to elderly clients in their homes
- Assist with daily living activities including meal preparation, medication reminders, and mobility support
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care coordinator
- Maintain detailed care notes and documentation
- Transport clients to appointments and errands as needed
- Implement personalized care plans with flexibility for client preferences
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or relevant certification
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills and empathy
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, or evenings (client-dependent)
