Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to elderly clients in their homes
- Assist with daily living activities including meal preparation, medication reminders, and mobility support
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care coordinators
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities as needed
- Maintain detailed care logs and follow individualized care plans
- Create a safe, engaging environment that promotes client independence
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or relevant certification
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
