Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and care
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain OSHA compliance
- Manage patient records using our advanced digital charting system
- Provide chairside assistance and comfort measures during procedures
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and patient communication
- Deliver post-procedure instructions and oral hygiene education
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license (CA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a dental setting
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends (including Saturdays)
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Strong interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform precise manual tasks
