Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation and patient monitoring
- Perform dental X-rays and maintain accurate patient records using digital systems
- Sterilize equipment and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Manage patient flow and ensure clean, organized treatment rooms
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene procedures
- Coordinate with front office staff for seamless patient experiences
Qualifications
- Current California Dental Assistant license or RDA certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
