Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgeries and restorations
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain OSHA compliance
- Take digital X-rays and perform chairside assistance during exams
- Manage patient scheduling and coordinate with insurance providers
- Implement infection control protocols and maintain inventory of dental supplies
- Deliver patient education on post-operative care and oral hygiene
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or RDA license in Washington State
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital imaging (X-ray, intraoral cameras)
- CPR certification and knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and adapt to flexible schedules
- Experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software preferred
