Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following OSHA protocols
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Coordinate inventory and restock dental supplies
- Support front desk duties including scheduling and billing when needed
Qualifications
- Active California Dental Assistant License (RDA or DA preferred)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a dental practice
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
- Excellent communication skills and patient rapport abilities
- Flexibility to work between 20-30 hours weekly across varied shifts
