Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms with sterilized instruments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies
- Maintain strict OSHA and infection control protocols
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
- Coordinate with front desk for patient flow and scheduling
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DA, RDA, or EFDA preferred)
- 1+ years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Knowledge of dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
