Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Sterilize instruments and maintain treatment rooms
- Manage patient records and schedule coordination
- Provide chairside assistance with dental materials
- Deliver post-operative care instructions
- Assist in inventory management of dental supplies
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year dental assisting experience
- X-ray certification and HIPAA compliance knowledge
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends (3-4 days/week)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or similar dental software
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
