Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take dental X-rays and maintain accurate patient records
- Manage patient flow and ensure comfortable waiting room experience
- Perform chairside assistance with suctioning and material preparation
- Execute infection control protocols and OSHA compliance
- Provide post-procedure care instructions to patients
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or RDA license (Arizona)
- 1+ years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and chairside manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Flexibility in scheduling including evenings and occasional weekends
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
