Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, endodontic, and oral surgery cases
- Manage digital radiography systems and ensure diagnostic image quality
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Deliver exceptional patient education on post-operative care and oral hygiene
- Coordinate patient flow and assist with scheduling for optimal efficiency
- Maintain accurate digital patient records and treatment documentation
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
Qualifications
- Active RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) license in California
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Certification in dental radiography and CPR/BLS
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or similar practice management software
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment
- Flexibility to work evenings and occasional weekends as needed
