Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures with precision and efficiency.
- Prepare treatment rooms, dental instruments, and materials for patient appointments.
- Perform and process digital dental X-rays and intraoral photographs.
- Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Greet patients, update medical histories, and explain treatment procedures to ensure a comfortable experience.
- Manage patient records and confirm appointments accurately.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting program (DA, RDH, or CDA preferred).
- Current DEA registration and valid Arizona X-ray license (if applicable).
- CPR and BLS certification (American Heart Association).
- Strong communication skills with a focus on patient comfort and trust.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform fine motor tasks.
- Experience with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus.
