Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control and medication ordering systems
- Provide exceptional patient counseling on medication usage and health topics
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and billing documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes
- Operate pharmacy technology systems including POS and prescription processing software
- Assist with immunizations and health screenings as certified
Qualifications
- Active Nevada Pharmacy Technician license or certification eligibility
- Prior pharmacy experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Basic computer proficiency with pharmacy software systems
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, or hybrid schedules
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
