Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections
- Process and transport specimens to laboratory
- Verify patient identity and order accuracy
- Maintain sterile equipment and supplies
- Document procedures in electronic health records
- Provide patient education during procedures
- Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA compliance protocols
- Collaborate with lab and clinical teams
Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania Phlebotomy certification
- Minimum 6 months clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
