Responsibilities
- Perform accurate venipuncture and capillary blood collections following OSHA protocols
- Process and label specimens with meticulous attention to detail
- Verify patient identification and maintain electronic health records
- Calibrate and maintain phlebotomy equipment
- Provide patient education during collection procedures
- Collaborate with lab and clinical teams for seamless workflow
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP/ASPT or equivalent)
- 1+ years of clinical phlebotomy experience
- Strong knowledge of venipuncture techniques and specimen handling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, or weekends
