Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone/telehealth to determine urgency and care priority
- Collaborate with physicians to develop appropriate treatment plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Educate patients on home care and when to seek emergency attention
- Coordinate care transitions between departments and facilities
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to HIPAA and regulatory compliance standards
Qualifications
- Active NC RN license with 2+ years clinical experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; TNCC preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional triage and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication abilities across diverse populations
- Experience in emergency, urgent care, or telehealth settings
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility with day/evening/weekend shifts
