Responsibilities
- Assess patient calls using clinical judgment to determine urgency and appropriate care pathways
- Provide accurate medical advice per physician protocols and established guidelines
- Document patient interactions in EMR systems with precision and timeliness
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient transitions
- Educate patients on home care instructions and follow-up protocols
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Triage certification preferred (ENA or equivalent)
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Flexible schedule availability (evenings/weekends)
