Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Prepare and maintain patient examination rooms and equipment
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure timely appointments
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings/weekends
- Michigan state license in good standing
