Responsibilities
- Perform accurate venipuncture and capillary blood collections
- Process specimens using CLIA-waived testing procedures
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and documentation
- Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, and transport protocols
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Provide patient education and comfort during procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare team for seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Current California Phlebotomy Technician certification (CPT)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Excellent venipuncture and EKG skills
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to work between 20-30 hours/week
