Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) to patients
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to clinical staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation
- Document patient care accurately in EMR systems
- Support activities of daily living (ADLs) for diverse patient populations
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Active Michigan CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work flexible shifts (days/nights/weekends)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Passion for geriatric or acute care settings
- Reliable transportation for facility visits
